Like the other herbs like Dukung Anak and Rodent Tuber there is another plant called Misai Kuching what means ‘cat whiskers’. Indeed, if you look at this herb, you will see its beautiful bluish flowers that resemble the whiskers of a cat. It’s scientific name is Orthosiphon Grandiflorus Boldingh.

This healing herb usually grows on damp soil. Its leaves are commonly consumed as tea. According to the scientific study there are two types of flavone that have been discovered in Misai Kuching: 5-hydroxy-6,7,3,4-tetramethoxyflavone and 4,5,6,7-tetramethoxyflavone.
